Submission Policy and Agreement

Gain free exposure to thousands of readers, publishers and webmasters by listing your articles or news feature.

By submitting your article or news features ("Content") to Oikos’ Insights! or www.oikosinsights.com (“We,” “Us,” or “Site”), Author or Contributor (“You”) agrees to these terms and conditions (“Agreement”). Oikos’ Insights! reserves the right to change all or any part of this Agreement at any time. If Author or Contributor does not agree, then Author must not submit any Content to this Site. We ask that you read the terms of this Agreement with Oikos’ Insights! carefully.

You agree that:

1. You are the copyright owner of the news or article;

2. You have the full power and authority to enter into this Agreement;

3. You allow others, without prior permission, to reprint and republish your article, unedited and in its entirety, along with your resource box, on both online and print media.

4. Your Content is well-written and devoid of grammatical, spelling, and other language errors;

5. The Content you submit for publication on Oikos’ Insights! will not violate or infringe the rights of any third person or party, including but not limited to, rights in copyrights, patents, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights;

6. Submission of any Content to the Site does not in any way guarantee that Content will be published or appear on the Site;

7. Oikos’ Insights! can delete any Content at any time, without any notice to the Author;

8. Your news or article must be positive and factual. It should not promote hatred, racism, or bigotry of any kind or contain libelous, defamatory, illegal, violent, harmful, obscene, and sexual statements;

9. Your articles should not contain advertisements, controversies, innuendoes, accusations, false claims and other unlawful and untruthful statements;

10. You will not submit any Content that contains any viruses, "worms", "Trojan horses" or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;

11. Oikos’ Insights! reserves the right to reject any article for any reason;

12. You will disclose your true identity and not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;

13. Neither Oikos’ Insights! nor publishers of your article are required to pay you a fee for re-printing your article. If you are seeking payment for use of your article, please do not submit your article to us;

14. Oikos’ Insights! will publish ads on the page(s) containing your article;

15. Oikos’ Insights! does not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of articles published on this web site;

16. You grant Oikos’ Insights! the worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to publish and distribute the Content in any media; include the Content in advertising and promotion; include the Content in electronic, print, and non-print products anywhere in the world;

17. As an Author or Contributor, you agree to be bound by our Terms of Service and Disclaimer;

18. Any disputes related to this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada and Author or Contributor consents to the jurisdiction of the courts of the same.


For Publishers

Reprint Policy and Agreement

Oikos’ Insights! provides free content for your online and print publication. You can obtain the article from our website but you need to publish the article in its entirety with no changes. There is a need to request permission to publish from the copyright owner. Please send a courtesy copy of your publication to the author. Always include the author resource box. Also, you must add the text “Reprinted from Oikos’ Insights! with clickable link to www.oikosinsights.com.

Oikos’ Insights! Reprint Policies:

1. If you wish to publish or reprint any article from our site in your online (newsletter, website, ezine, blog, and forum) or print publication, you must:

a. Respect the copyrights of the authors by publishing the entire article as it is with no changes.

b. Agree to include the full resource box or SIG line at the end of the article.

c. Agree to make all links active.

d. Agree to include the article source credit below each article reprinted with the link active: Reprinted from: http://www.oikosinsights.com

e. Agree to not publish any of the articles found on this site to any online or print publication that also promotes or contains information on criminal, pornographic, violent, exploitative, discriminatory, and other unlawful activities.

f. Agree to never reprint any article from this site via any unsolicited email, spamming, or pop up ads.

g. Agree to contact the copyright owner directly for courtesy if you want to use the article outside online publication.


2. Your use of anything connected to Oikos’ Insights! is completely at your own risk.

3. While Oikos’ Insights! does not generally own the copyright to the articles found within our site, we do have permission for publishing them.

4. If you violate any of the above terms of service, you agree to be held liable for all attorney fees and statutory damages awarded upon a copyright infringement lawsuit that may be brought against you.

5. You acknowledge that Oikos’ Insights! has the sole right to revoke these reprint rights at any given time for any reason. You will be notified through email, fax, telephone, or postal mail. Upon receipt of our notice, you will have 24 hours to immediately remove every article you got from Oikos’ Insights! In addition, you must reply through email, fax, or postal mail indicating that you have complied with our request.
